 Principal’s Message

On behalf of the faculty and staff of Mendota Elementary, I would like to take this opportunity to welcome all of our returning students, parents, and community members; as well as those of you who are joining us for the first time.  We look forward to working in partnership with you during this upcoming school year. It is essential that we take the opportunity to establish a relationship where our students will be able to prosper and grow towards their full potential in their academic needs. 

Mendota Elementary is committed to providing a 21st Century technology driven school, that is safe, and committed to excellence. We are a PBIS school that fosters and promotes the character strengths through the use of the Positivity Project. We strive to keep our school environment a safe and positive environment where we develop students who will be respectful, responsible, and safe. We are committed to tiered intervention for our academics and behavior through the use of MTSS which also includes Social Emotional aspects.  We strive for the development of language, literacy skills, enhanced mathematical practices, arts, and science. We currently have a Dual Immersion program where students are able to develop two languages, Spanish and English. Our ultimate goal is for students to develop the necessary skills to be successful here at Mendota Elementary and for it to continue at Mendota Jr. High and Mendota High School.

We are committed to providing the necessary help for your children to reach their potential. It is a pleasure to serve the community of Mendota and welcome our families and their support in achieving a successful school year!
